Surah Fatiha - The Opening

Surah Fatiha answers the 3 most common questions every Muslim had asked at least once in his lifetime.

1. Where did I come from?  

The 1st ayah of the surah answer this question i.e  Al hamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘alameen
I (we) come from Allah and all praises belong to Him (Allah)

   
      2. Where Am I going?

The 2nd Ayah answer this question i.e  Ar-Rahman ar-Raheem Maaliki yaumid Deen

 You are going back to Allah and he is the owner of the day of judgment and he will account you.

        3. Why am here?

The 3rd ayah answers this question i.e  Iyyaaka na’abudu
You are here to worship Allah alone.
